Stilles Land plot

The GDR in the autumn of 1989. The ambitious young director Kaï is looking for a new start in a provincial theater in the far north. While outside the country is collapsing, with the piece 'Waiting for Godot' he tries to give a new impulse to the company threatened with dismissal. Meanwhile, dramatic political changes are taking place in Berlin and the rest of the country.
