Sternsteinhof plot

On top of the hill is the Sternsteinhof and below it on the edge of the forest are two small huts. In one hut lives Leni (Katja Rupé) who is in love with Toni (Peter Kern), the son and heir of the Sternsteinhof, and in the other hut lives Muckerl (Tilo Prückner), who loves Leni and marries her as Toni for two years of military service. When Toni returns, he marries Sali (Irm Hermann), but he dies during her first delivery. After Muckerl also died, partly due to Leni's negligence, she can finally marry her first love Toni and she becomes the proud wife of the richest farmer in the area.
