Stay Awake plot
Derek and Ethan took their mother back to the clinic. The nurse gives them a familiar nod as they enter the emergency room. It's not the first time the brothers have been anxiously sitting in their car, driving around to the usual places until they get their drug-addicted mother off the street. Despite her addiction, the three manage to share a kind of everyday life with each other. When Ethan is accepted into a distant university, the brothers face the dilemma of escaping the vicious circle of co-dependency.
