State of Mind plot

When Nina Latimer is killed in a dramatic and fatal accident near her own garage door, her husband, Julian, is arrested. He is in a state of shock and cannot remember the moment he hit his wife. A blackout? Or murder? The police bring in Grace Hazlett to investigate Julian's mental state from her specialty as a forensic psychologist. During the interrogations she comes across many interfaces with her own life and the relationship problems she is experiencing. She tries to keep the two things strictly separate.
