Successful bratpack movie. Although The Breakfast Club is better for me, I still think this is a good movie. Gives a good impression of the atmosphere of the 80s - if it is American and if it is in the 'upper circles'. Strong choice of music, which occasionally reinforces the false sentiment in the film.

Dumb gang.

Film that stands or falls with the characters, because there isn't much else. Nice if you can take some fun out of the problems of these young adults, but I couldn't do much with it. Each and every one of them irritating individuals, which does not make it so easy to empathize or sympathize with their fairly average problems.

Many familiar faces, yes, but they know little about what they are presented with. Furthermore, Schumacher does not add much. I sometimes think he's pretty good as a director, but here he stays very heavily in the background.

It also takes a relatively long time, but that is probably because of the amount of characters. Each has its problem of course and despite it being of little interest, screen time has to be provided to work it all out.

Nah, pretty bland and boring drama. Schumacher can do much better.

This Schumacher film is not too special. In any case, not really the best director there has been, but he can certainly make a movie. Unfortunately, this film does not excel in any way above his other films.

We've seen the story before, and the drama therefore feels forced at times. In any case, because you often already know what is going to happen, the film is also quite predictable. Emotionally it didn't grab me at all.

It's fine to follow, although I didn't always have to look intently at this, but the story is okay. A little more emotion and originality would have done this film well, because it doesn't excel at anything.
