Spirit Bear: The Simon Jackson Story plot
Simon Jackson, a stuttering, timid 15-year-old boy, is passionate about nature and loves to roam the Canadian forests for hours. One day, a brown bear attacks him and his life is saved by a white Kermode bear. Simon discovers that this rare bear is in danger of extinction and decides to take the action. The introverted young man becomes a political activist and launches a campaign to save his exceptional friends. With the help of Lloyd Blackburn, a member of a wildlife fund, he turns to the powerful forest industry and the provincial government. Slowly but surely, young people from all over the world are joining Simon's project.
