Spanish Affair plot

American architect Merritt Blake has been invited to work on a project in Spain. Because he does not speak the Spanish language, Blake needs an interpreter. Blake hires the beautiful Spanish woman Mari Zarubia as his translator. Zarubia's friend Antonio doesn't trust Blake and follows him when he travels to the countryside with Zarubia. Antonio is convinced that Blake is planning to conquer Zarubia. Antonio's paranoia is revealed when Blake and Zarubia do indeed fall in love, which only fuels his violent jealousy.
