Sowers and Reapers plot

Although Earle Courtney is married to factory girl Annie Leigh, his wealthy father, Major James Courtney, is determined that Earle will marry the wealthy Ethel Ainsworth. Courtney kidnaps his son and sends a message to Annie requesting an annulment of their marriage, signing Earle's name. All records of the marriage are subsequently destroyed, and Earle is led to believe that his wife has died in a factory fire. Meanwhile, Annie, alive and well, travels to the city in search of her husband, and there her child is born.
