Songbird plot

Isabella is a housewife trapped in an oppressive marriage to her dominant and drinking husband Walter. One evening at the dinner table, her songbird won't stop chirping, which infuriates Walter. It's only when he threatens to take the only thing she loves away from her that Isabella finds the strength to fight back with gruesome tenacity.
