Little Angèle is seriously ill and, according to Professor Valensio, her condition is hopeless. Due to an indiscretion, the child learns that she will most likely die before Christmas, but that she could be saved if she is still alive on that date. All the neighbors decide to organize a Christmas party with her and her mother before that time.
