Solo plot

"A love story of our Time"

Paul Robinson (Vincent Gil) is a firefighter pilot. He watches over hundreds of square miles of New Zealand pine forest. He has a son, Billy (Perry Armstrong). Billy is an intelligent teenager who lives in his own fantasy world. They meet a hitchhiker, Judy Ballantine (Lisa Peers), who has just come out of a bad marriage. Through her eyes we view the forests, the mountains and the strange, lonely lives of Paul and Billy.
