Solid Air plot

Glasgow 2003. Robert, a man in his late fifties, has been incapacitated for some time due to a work accident. His wife has left him and his son Robert junior is a lounger who is occupied with gambling. One day, Robert runs out of credit to pay off his debts and is told that he must pay everything back by a certain deadline. Coincidentally, he discovers that his father was entitled to greater compensation at the time of the accident. Knowing that his father is dying, the boy hires an ambitious lawyer to recover the unpaid sum as quickly as possible. However, he needs a witness to win the trial. During the quest he undertakes together with his father, his true motivations come to light...
