A cleaning lady and a teacher. She exhibits self-destructive behavior as a result of a terrible tragedy. He is unhappy, has repressed feelings and calls the council all the time about all sorts of trifles. Where she takes it to extremes, including excessive sex and lies, he has turned inward. When these two damaged souls meet at work, they bond and embark on a journey together. But their inability to communicate breaks up the fragile relationship, with yet another tragic result.
