Nozomi is heartbroken when she discovers her friend Chitose is secretly marrying another woman. She crashes the wedding and flees, but on the way out, she collides with a deliveryman carrying Castella cakes. When she awakens, she's greeted by a talking Castella cake that has taken the form of Chitose. With the help of her new honey-flavored companion, Nozomi tries to cope with the separation.
