Smutecní Slavnost plot

The death of a farmer infuriates a Czech provincial town. The man was known as an opponent of collectivization and had been evicted by officials who wanted his property. His widow's wish to interred him in the family grave is widely acclaimed, but because he was critical of the regime, he is also thwarted as a corpse. During the funeral, however, the funeral procession turns into a large public demonstration.
