A family drama about the Finnish version of Kain and Abel. Eighteen-year-old Rupert still suffers from nightmares, caused by what his abusive father made him do when he was little. To him, his father is a curse. However, for his younger brother Evert, father is still just a father. Problems and conflicts slowly paint a clear contrast between the two brothers. Different in character, this will eventually build to a tragic climax...
