"Struggle in the Valley"
Ahmed is the son of an overseer who works for a wealthy pasha, Taher. The landowner has paid Ahmed's tuition fees and he feels cheated when agronomist Ahmed uses his knowledge to improve the crops of poor farmers. When he finds out that Ahmed is in love and meets up with his daughter Amal, he devises a conspiracy in which he can get rid of his business partner as well as blame Ahmed's father for this murder. As a result, Ahmed is forced to flee to the desert and break off relations with Amal.
