Silentium plot

It's early summer, exceptionally hot and humid. Malek lives on the ground floor of an old building by the sea, alone and without family ties. She's often bullied by her friends Khaled and Azza for her passion for Roman mosaics and for spying on her strange neighbors. It's the everyday life she's chosen. But when night falls, the wild, violent arguments she hears behind her neighbor's closed door throw her into a wave of fear. Dark memories flood back. She's certain a monster lives in her building.
