Somewhere in the south of Austria, the school year is coming to an end and the summer holidays are just around the corner. Paula, an intelligent student at the boarding school, is seventeen. She is secretly in love with her friend Charlotte. But Charlotte is dating Michael. Paula then decides to try and get involved with her school friend Tim, whose feelings for her are at least genuine. Paula has no idea how often Charlotte thinks about her. And then there's Lilli, who is capable of anything for someone and tries to play the wild temptress. Paula must decide whether to follow her own feelings or succumb to other people.
