Shodô Gâruzu!!: Watashitachi no Kôshien plot

In Shikokuchuo, a small town in Japan known as the number 1 producer of paper, most of the shops are deserted. This is all because of the economic crisis. Satoko is the head of a calligraphy club at school. One day she sees Ikezawa writing characters on a large piece of paper, while a large audience is standing around cheering him. Shocked by this spectacle, Satoko decides to change the traditional form that she and her club maintain and thus show a more entertaining form of this art. They do this in the hope that the town will revive completely.
