Shirshendu's Diary plot

The end of the communist party's 34-year rule in West Bengal is preceded by an intolerable political turmoil, in which the famous theater and film director Shirshendu Ray falls victim. Political unrest continues with hundreds of demonstrations on the roads. Every day the news reveals the death of an innocent compatriot. As Bengal continues her drastic, horrific daily life, Shirshendu Ray becomes so depressed that he is forcibly taken to a mental institution where he undergoes lengthy treatment.
