Shirins Hochzeit plot

The 20-year-old Turkish peasant girl Shirin travels to Cologne to look for her betrothed, to whom she had been promised as a child. Very slowly the young woman empathizes with a world that is foreign to her, she learns the language and gets used to the hard work in the factory. But then Shirin is fired. Without a residence permit and without money, she falls victim to a pimp. From now on she has to earn her money as a whore in the dormitories of the guest workers. One day she meets her betrothed Mahmud...
