1940. Hitler has started his advance in Europe. The half-Jewish Linda Voss lives in New York and works for lawyer Ed Leland. She has two big dreams. Linda wants to save her family in Berlin from the clutches of the Nazis and despite having no diplomas, she wants to prove that she is an expert at her profession. Linda discovers that Ed, with whom she is in a relationship, is not the man he claims to be.
