Lei Zekuan is a farmer from Anhui. One day his two-year-old son Lei Da goes missing as a victim of child trafficking. Lei Zekuan embarks on a fifteen-year journey to find his lost son. Along the way, he meets Zeng Shuai, a young auto mechanic who was himself kidnapped at a young age and is looking for his parents.

Fine.
Just like Qin Ai De, a film about the kidnapping of children in China. With Andy Lau who wraps himself in a beautiful, honest role. He carries this film and ensures that despite all the drama it remains small and beautiful enough.
Visually also okay, if only because of the beautiful surroundings. Anyone who is a fan of suspension bridges will be well catered for here. A sad story based on true events. It all seems a bit far-fetched at times, but this movie gets away with it a little better.
A few small supporting roles for Tony Leung Ka Fai and Sandra Ng, but it is mainly Andy Lau's one-man show, with Boran Jing as a fine opponent. In any case, thought this was the better of the two films, but they are not real gems. For that they lack a bit of austerity and it sometimes hangs a bit too much on the sentimental edge.
