Sherry Ann plot
"The deadly truth."
After several years in prison, four construction workers were found innocent in the case of Sherry Ann Duncan, a half Thai-American who was murdered in 1986. One died in captivity, while another was paralyzed as a result of police interrogations where confessions were forced. The four were sentenced to life imprisonment on the basis of false evidence. Years later, an investigative team reopened the case and new suspects were convicted, but none of the police inspectors were ever punished for the fake evidence. Based on a true story.
