Sheepdog plot

"A decorated combat Veteran is court ordered into treatment when an ex-convict shows up on his doorstep and reveals that he must put himself back together again."

Decorated American war veteran Calvin Cole is sentenced by a judge to undergo treatment under the supervision of a trainee trauma therapist, who works nights at a local restaurant to pay for her studies. The situation is further complicated when Calvin's father-in-law, a retired Vietnam veteran, knocks on his door after being recently released from prison. When Calvin's plan to run away proves impossible, he learns through the support of those around him, love, and compassion that he must pull himself together for his family—and for himself.
