Shambala plot
Seven-year-old Shambala lives in a mountain forest with his grandparents, uncle and aunt. He spends the time discovering nature and listening to Grandpa's stories. Because of the legends that Grandpa tells, including about the mythical Sacred Deer, the boy lives with an imaginative representation of the world. But in the end, all folklore and fantasy prove no match for the tragedies caused by adults.
