Shakey Grounds plot

Gifted but troubled musician Travis struggles with his past and his fractured relationship with band manager Mel. When disgraced record executive Nick offers them a shot at success, Mel is eager to sign, but Travis remains skeptical. As tension mounts, Travis reveals his pain stems from the death of his best friend and former bandmate. Just before their biggest show, Nick’s tainted past is revealed, causing the band to turn their backs on him completely.
