Shakedown on the Sunset Strip plot
"Vice for sale on the boulevard of broken dreams."
It's 1948 and ambitious police sergeant Charles Stoker (Perry King) turns to prostitution in Los Angeles to make a name for himself. Brenda Allen (Joan Van Ark) has pretty much the whole city on her payroll in that area, but when Stoker notices that she has good political contacts, he soon finds out that he is involved in a difficult case.
