Shadows of Sing Sing plot

After college students Bob Martel and Muriel Ross fall in love, Muriel reveals that her real last name is Rossi and that she is the sister of notorious mobster Al Rossi. This revelation doesn't deter Bob, but it does shock his father Joe Martel. Joe is a prominent police detective who works in the photographic identification department. Al Rossi is also furious about this romance, but despite the objections of their families, Bob and Muriel decide to marry. However, their attempt to leave together is thwarted by Al Rossi when he learns of it.
