Serenade plot

Franz Rossi is a brilliant composer who is blessed with a beautiful woman named Gretchen. Still, Rossi finds it necessary to associate with other women, so he tries to keep Gretchen home and away from work. When Gretchen finds out what her husband has been up to, she disappears completely from view. Over time, Rossi discovers that his wife is in a posh hotel, where everything indicates that Gretchen herself is now enjoying the favors of another man. What Rossi doesn't know is that Gretchen has staged a few things to teach her errant husband a lesson.
