Scherben plot

A track inspector visits a level crossing guard and meets his wife and their almost grown daughter. The job inspector dishonors her (without wanting to marry her), her mother discovers this and becomes despairing, after which the father strangles him. When a train stops, he gets in to turn himself in to the police.
