Scandalous Me: The Jacqueline Susann Story plot

Jacqueline Susann leaves for New York, hoping to make it as an actress. She meets Irving Mansfield, a lyricist/producer who has connections in showbiz. They get married and Irving lands her roles in TV series. Their marriage path is not a bed of roses, especially when their son turns out to be autistic. She is also subsequently confronted with breast cancer. From that moment she starts writing.
