"Together Again In A NEW And Wonderful Motion Picture!"

After a Catholic orphanage burns down in the Canadian province of Quebec, little Patsy is adopted by the McChesneys in Protestant Ontario. Patrick McChesney is Scourie City Council President and has run for election in the parliamentary elections. His political opponents are now accusing him and his wife of using Patsy's adoption to solicit votes and launch a campaign against McChesne.
