Santa & Andrés plot
It is 1983 in a village in the east of Cuba. Andres, a writer, looks from his hut and sees a young country woman approaching his hut with a chair in her hand. She is willing to watch over him for the next three days. The revolutionary government has already banned Andres from writing, because of his ideology and his homosexuality. Now, in view of an impending political event, he is being closely watched to ensure that he does not express his dissident views to the international press and delegates.
