Sand City plot

Two lives unfold parallel in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Emma is a young woman who brings sand home from construction sites to fill her cat's litter box. Hasan, who works in a glass factory, steals silica sand from his job to make glass and dreams of one day starting his own business. In this film, the lives of the two protagonists remain distant and never intersect. The only thing that connects them is sand.
