San Cheng Ji plot

China in the late 1930s during the Second Sino-Japanese War. Fang, a former Nationalist Party spy, falls in love with Chen, an opium salesperson and widow, at a time when love is far from ideal. Fang's former life as a spy makes him a target of both the Nationalists and the Communists. Together they try to escape the past, but the surrounding danger separates them not only from each other but also from their children.
