Samuel Bleak plot

The town of Whiterain is small and relatively quiet. At a young age, Samuel Bleak fled the town, carrying nothing but a typewriter. Police Chief Ruben Ramirez finds Samuel almost twenty years later, living in a makeshift cabin in the woods, where he silently works on his typewriter. After a short stay in the city jail, Ramirez transfers Samuel to the Whiterain Mental Hospital, where he comes under the care of Roselyn Ramirez. Ruben and Roselyn uncover Samuel's identity and past, and link them to his alcoholic father. Meanwhile, they try to unravel the mysterious circumstances that drove Samuel to flee and isolate himself.
