Sakli Yüzler is about a beautiful girl Zurhe, who becomes pregnant at a young age from her (at that time) great love. He leaves her to suffocate for fear of the consequences and poor Zurhe finds herself in a web of honor killings, where the end seems to justify all means and no one is spared. Her - initially - innocent brother Ismail also gets involved and even takes a large part of the blame. Years later, Zurhe tells in a documentary about her life and the honor killing drama she experienced. However, when Zuhre's uncle, who already played the largest role in the atrocities in Turkey, sees the film in a German cinema, all security measures are not enough. Uncle Ali immediately recognizes Zuhre's story and decides to finish what he started in Turkey. Zuhre must die yet to save the family's honour. That Uncle Ali is mainly after power and mainly wants to save his own honor is apparent during the events, but by then it is already too late.
