Saeneun Pyegoksuneul Keruinda plot

Kim teaches at a provincial film school and is not popular with the students. Unlike his colleagues, who help the students to make contacts and build their film careers, Kim is more focused on film itself and making his own film; a desire that goes along with his desire to fly. He is so busy with his screenplay about the lives of birds that he does not realize that his professional and private lives are falling apart. Kim's girlfriend, Young Hee, struggles with her fear for their future and tries to breathe some life into their relationship. Although this has little success, he does accompany her on a trip to her birthplace. However, he becomes increasingly alienated from the human world.
