Running Woman plot

"Finding the truth can be a race against time."

Emily Russo (Theresa Russel) is a successful divorcee and mother of one son. During a violent robbery, her son is kidnapped and Emily is left for dead. However, she only turns out to be unconscious and calls in the police and media to find her child. Then the brutally murdered body of the apple of her eye is found. As if this isn't bad enough, the police begin to suspect her of the heinous crime. When she manages to escape her guard, she begins the search in the underworld of Los Angeles for the identity of the real perpetrator and proof of her innocence.
