"A robbery gone bad"
Dre and Stacey have had a difficult life and are trying to raise their son, Nixon, as best they can. Everything changes when Nixon is hospitalized and needs a new heart. Because insurance won't cover the surgery, Stacey feels compelled to steal money from the strip club where she works. The money belongs to Slice, a criminal currently in prison. Two years later, Slice is released. He wants his money back and kidnaps Nixon, who is now healthy again. For the second time, Stacey must do everything she can to save her son's life.
