Three stories of searching adolescents during the same Easter weekend in the same black neighborhood of Toronto. A man who returns from prison with his wife and child and must decide whether to deal again. A young woman who has had an abortion and is abandoned by her boyfriend and a boy who struggles with his homosexuality. Their inspiration is the rock 'n reggae of Rude, a disc jockey of an illegal radio station, who speaks poetically about 'The Zulu nation in the land of the Mohawks' with her sultry Jamaican voice.
