Rottenknechte plot

May 1945. While Hitler commits suicide and the German capitulation is imminent, Hitler's successor Admiral Dönitz has many other plans. Together with the Western powers, he wants to continue the fight against the Soviet Union in order to preserve his own freedom of action. Meanwhile, a number of sailors have had more than enough of the war. When speedboat M612 wants to leave for the Baltics, they start a mutiny, arrest the officers and sail towards Heimat. On the way, however, they cross a flotilla led by Commander Petersen, who can restore the old order on the M612. But the British troops are also nearby.
