Rosen Blühen auf dem Heidegrab plot
In a small German village among the great moors, there is a legend about a young woman who drowned in the swampy land after being raped by a Swedish invader who joined the Thirty Years' War. Now the young Dorothee - in love with the architect Ludwig - is harassed by the repulsive, wealthy farmer Eschmann. The man is capable of anything to get her and history seems to be repeating itself.
