Romanzo di un Giovane Povero plot
The young Vincenzo and the old Mr. Bartoloni, neighbors of each other, are both deeply unhappy. Vincenzo, who studied art history, is frustrated that he cannot find a steady job. mr. Bartoloni is fed up with his wife, once a beauty but now fat and drinking. One night, Mr. Bartoloni to Vincenzo, who is in need of money, to help him kill his wife, for a considerable fee. A few days later, Mrs. Bartoloni found dead, but also Mr. Bartoloni's money is gone. Both begin to suspect each other of murder.
