River Lady plot
"Gambling mistress of the untamed Mississippi where men are as good as their fists and women as good as their kisses!"
Spring in the 19th century. Lumberjacks arrive at the lumberjack village upstream from the Mississippi. The riverboat, on which you can bet, is also there. On board is river queen Sequin. She likes woodcutter Dan Corridan. The savvy businessman Beauvais not only wants to own the entire logging business, but he also wants Sequin. To keep Dan near her, Sequin manipulates Beauvais into running the local Morrisson Sawmill, but then Morrisson's daughter sets her sights on Dan.
