Risen plot
'Risen' tells the story of Howard Winstone. He became world featherweight champion in 1968 at the age of 29. What makes the story so remarkable is that the young man lost the tips of three of his fingers in an accident at a factory in his hometown of Merthyr Tydfil. He was unable to make a fist with his right hand after the accident. This was a big blow to someone whose career depends on both his fists. Known for being a good judge, the day of the accident was basically the end of his boxing career. At least that's what everyone assumed except Howard. He changes his entire boxing style and still tries to become champion of Great Britain, European champion and world champion.
