Rezervni Deli plot
Krüko, a small industrial town near the southern Slovenian border with Croatia. Slovenia's only nuclear power station is located on the outskirts of this city. Once a national racing champion, Ludvik is an embittered widower who smuggles illegal immigrants across the border from Croatia to Italy in his van at night. His boss assigns him the young and inexperienced Rudi as a helper. They go to the races together and transport immigrants from all over the world past the nuclear power plant almost every night. Rudi soon lets go of his moral objections: he becomes hard and ruthless. The better future that the refugees hope to find in Europe often results in a downright human drama...
