Retour en Alexandrie plot

Sue is a 45-year-old psychotherapist whose Egyptian mother is on her deathbed. Sue reluctantly leaves her well-organized life in Switzerland to return to her birthplace after more than twenty years of absence. During her mystical journey, the sounds, smells and sights of the Nile Delta and Alexandria finally give Sue the strength to confront the ghosts of her past, allowing her to reconcile with her mother and finally become the powerful woman she was meant to be.
